The Delaware Tribe of Indians are a Nation of Lunaape people located primarily in Oklahoma with a satellite location in Kansas. They continue to protect the heritage of their people through the Tribal Historic Preservation office by protecting the homelands of the Lunaape people and all the other locations to which they migrated before settling in Oklahoma, as well as the cultural resources associated with and found on those lands.
