Beat the winter blues and join us indoors for first Saturdays family programs at Philipse Manor Hall! At 12:00 PM we feature a special story time with Yonkers Public Library librarians, who read two history-focused picture books with a seasonal theme. This month's books are TBA.
Then, at 12:30 PM, join us indoors for historical games! Learn how people of the past entertained themselves and kept busy during the long winter months with indoor tabletop games like mancala, shut the box, captain's mistress, nine man's morris, skittles, and more, plus indoor-friendly hand-eye coordination games like quoits, cup and ball, jacob's ladder, and more.
Both programs are free and open to the public, no registration required. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Limited free parking is available on site. A public parking garage is located right next door and metered street parking is also available.
