Philipse Manor Hall will be bringing Historical Games to the YMCA of Yonkers Healthy Kids Day at JFK Marina in Yonkers. Come visit the PMH booth to try your hand at all kinds of historical games, plus visit other booths, enjoy rides, music, face painting, and more! (No Story Time this month - join us in June!)
Learn how people of the past entertained themselves tabletop games like mancala, shut the box, captain's mistress, nine man's morris, skittles, and more, plus hand-eye coordination games like quoits, cup and ball, jacob's ladder, and outdoor-only games like graces, hoop and stick, battledore and shuttlecock, and more.
Health Kids Day is free and open to the public, no registration required. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
