Join us for story time in the Gothic Chamber, in partnership with Yonkers Public Library. We’ll be celebrating the Native American Heritage Month with Hiawatha and the Peacemaker by Robbie Robertson, which tells the story of how Mohawk warrior Hiawatha helped bring peace to the Haudenosaunee people, and When the Shadbush Blooms by Carla Messinger, which follows two Lenape girls - one traditional, and one modern - as they experience the seasons and explore tradition and change.
This program is free and open to everyone! No registration required. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
